LED driver is to drive LED and provide power to LED stripe. According to different LED stripe, it will need different LED driver for work. Some of the standard combination of LED stripe will have standard version of LED driver; however the place that can use LED are too many, some of the place have special LED combination which will need special LED driver to drive the LED, some even need special function like battery backup or extra protection for the LED, special output for different function LED like UV LED.
